Lara Beth Winn is a health care attorney providing legal counsel to hospitals, physician groups, individual providers, ambulatory surgical centers, accountable care organizations and other provider organizations, as well as biotechnology companies and health care technology companies. She focuses her health law practice on regulatory compliance and transactional matters. Lara regularly counsels health care clients on state and federal privacy issues, including reviewing, preparing, and interpreting privacy policies, assessing requests for confidential information, and assisting clients in the event of a breach. Lara also is experienced in corporate governance matters, licensing and credentialing, facility accreditation, OIG-recommended compliance programs, patient care issues, and fraud and abuse matters. She also assists clients with establishing contractual relationships relating to employment, services agreements, and other agreements necessary to corporate organization and reorganization.

Lara has been named a “Rising Star” in Boston Magazine’s “Super Lawyers” edition. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association (Health Section) and the American Health Lawyers Association. Lara earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College. Prior to her work at Ankner & Levy, Lara was an Associate Counsel at the Massachusetts Medical Society and was an Associate in the Health Law Department of McDermott Will & Emery in Boston.
